Counselling in Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove
Hello, my name is Alison Briggs. I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor in East Sussex offering one-to-one counselling for adults. I work from comfortable rooms in central Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove.
You may be struggling to cope with an upsetting or challenging situation. You may face problems in your relationships or be overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem or loneliness. Alternatively you may be interested in self-development more broadly. These are just some of the reasons people decide to see a counsellor or therapist but there are many more.
What I offer
I offer a respectful relationship where we can look together at what is concerning you. I aim to listen and explore alongside you, supporting you to become more self-aware and make your own decisions. Find out more about the way I work as a humanistic counsellor here. Please note that I use the terms counselling and therapy interchangeably on this website.
How can counselling help?

It may help you to become more self-aware, for example of your feelings, the way you see the world, your choices and your relationships with others
It may help you to come to terms with different aspects of your life, see things from another perspective or try out new ways of behaving
